'Passed away satisfied', Floor Haak (86) wants stated on his mourning card. He quits eating and drinking and together with his sons, who move in with him, he goes through the last thirteen days of his life.
'Chronicle of my father’s death’ is the subtitle of this remarkable account. Floor Haak (86) seemingly still enjoys life, but his body is fragile and he cannot imagine going to a nursing home. So he decides to stop eating and drinking. His two sons move in to take care of him. On Floor’s request, his son Gijs films the process. Together, the three of them experience the last thirteen days of his life. Intense, sad, but also cheerful and light.
