Celebrating Cinema

Voor deze speciale live-opname van de Celebrating Cinema-podcast van LAB111 tijdens het NFF brengen we drie mensen samen die zich op verschillende punten in dat traject bevinden: regisseur Mees Peijnenburg, wiens nieuwe speelfilm A Family dit jaar meedingt naar het Gouden Kalf; Leontine Petit, CEO en producent bij Lemming Film en lid van de Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; en acteur Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing, wiens carrière zich al afspeelt tussen Nederlandse en internationale producties.

Samen bekijken ze wat er nodig is om de grenzen van de Nederlandse filmindustrie te overschrijden, wat dat moeilijk maakt, en of Nederland meer ruimte kan creëren voor zijn filmmakers om internationaal te denken zonder simpelweg het land te verlaten.
