NFF Professionals is aimed at the Dutch professional world of av professionals and up-and-coming talent.

Every year in September, NFF brings together professionals from different disciplines during the Professionals Programme, packed with current topics, inspiration and networking opportunities. In addition, the connecting platform NFF Extended organises events throughout the year.

The 46th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival will take place from Friday 25 September to Friday 2 October 2026.

The Professionals Badge

The Professionals Badge gives access to the entire festival programme, from film screenings to the NFF Focustalks. Badge holders are also included in our online Professionals Guest List and get access to the contact details of all accredited professionals attending the festival.

To inform and inspire av professionals and new makers all year round, NFF Extended organises meetings on relevant, current and urgent topics from the Dutch av sector.

Digital Culture

Digital Culture at NFF shows innovative ways of visual storytelling beyond the boundaries of film and television.

To bring original stories to life in extraordinary ways, creators use technologies such as VR, AR and AI to create apps, interactive installations and performances. These productions are distinguished by their creative forms and use of digital means. Digital Culture at NFF offers a place for curious viewers who want to discover how storytelling is changing in a digital age.

Fellowships

The Fellowships Programme is designed for mid-career makers who are engaged in a research project within the field of Digital Culture. With this program, makers and/or collectives are encouraged to explore new technologies, themes and tools, and initiate collaborations for research proposals, which they will present during the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF).

The NFF Professionals Programme annually raises various topical and urgent issues. The programme brings together creators, other av professionals and policymakers to discuss the future of the industry. The programme of the past years is collected in the archive
