In addition to these events, the NFF professionals programme has a large focus on talent match making and project development during the Holland Film Meeting.
The Fellowships program is designed for mid-career makers who are engaged in a research project within the field of Digital Culture. With this program, makers and/or collectives are encouraged to explore new technologies, themes and tools, and initiate collaborations for research proposals, which they will present during the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF). You can still apply for the 2025-2026 programme until 20 April!
The 44th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival has come to an end on Friday 27 September, when twentyfour Golden Calves were handed out to the makers of films, documentaries, series and digital culture productions.
The Holland Film Meeting (HFM) builds and expands bridges between the Dutch and international worlds of film, TV, and digital storytelling. Unfortunately, due to the discontinuance of the structural funding from the municipality of Utrecht, the HFM will not be held in 2025.
In the spirit of inspiration, interdisciplinary collaborations and responding to current events, the NFF Professionals Programme annually presents the NFF Conference during the Netherlands Film Festival.
