Announcing the Golden Calf Digital Culture 2025 selection

Experience the selected works in the Storyspace exhibition

The contenders for the Golden Calf for Best Digital Culture Production 2025 have been announced. During the Netherlands Film Festival, the Storyspace exhibition showcases innovative digital narratives that broaden our perspective on the world. The public can experience nine selected projects from 26 September to 2 October at the Storyspace exhibition in the Utrecht Library on the Neude. The Golden Calf for Digital Culture 2025 will be awarded during the EY Golden Calf Gala on 3 October.

Storyspace

In Storyspace, creators explore themes such as AI, colonial history, climate, memories and the future. Their stories engage the senses through VR, apps, immersive installations, and performances. From the nine productions listed below, the jury will nominate three works to compete for the Golden Calf for Best Digital Culture Production 2025. The nominations will be announced on the morning of Tuesday, 30 September during the NFF Focustalk: Presenting the Fellows and Nominees.
