Mevrouw is u van de hemel?

Short documentary about inhabitants and staff of The Werf, an institution for the mentally handicapped in North Amsterdam. Wil Alberts is head of the night care at The Werf. The documentary Madame Are You from Heaven? shows how she communicates at night, using a complex sound system with the 180 mentally handicapped inhabitants. During her shift, she is almost continuously confronted with inhabitants who for some reason or other are unable to get to sleep. The shouting, whispering, groaning, laughing, singing, crying and talk goes on all night long. Wil Alberts comforts, talks and calls in help when needed.
