Last part of a film in three episodes, made to mark the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America. In De resten van Utopia Keller continues his journey through the New World by Greyhound bus. From the East Coast to the West and from the Canadian border to the Mexican. As in all his visits to America, Keller again goes in search of aspects of the American Dream. Witnesses of his journey through the occasionally densely-populated but often deserted landscape are the drivers of the Greyhound, but also the writer Ray Bradbury, the journalist and urban historian Mike Davis and the professor of American literature Leslie Fiedler.
