De nieuwe Lola's - Het ravijn

On 9 February 2002, journalist/columnist Max suffers a cerebral haemorrhage. In hospital, his recovery begins, the long way out of 'the ravine', paved with anger and distrust. Max can hardly speak, but think all the better, in a driving voice-over. When, after a visit to an anatomic museum ('Which piss-pot do I sit in?'), it dawns on him what his fate might be - lasting unilateral paralysis, a character change - he gets visions of an anti-Max. The film is based on the book by Max Pam, who suffered brain haemorrhage himself.
