As Jasmine increasingly shuts herself off from the outside world, her perception of reality begins to distort. To find herself again, she must confront what has remained unspoken between her and her mother all this time.
This debut film follows Jasmine, a young woman struggling with her mental health in a world where digital contact increasingly replaces human closeness. From her Rotterdam apartment, reality and imagination begin to blur as the silence between her and her mother continues to grow. Jasmine, in turn, retreats further into isolation. But when the rain gives way to the sun, Jasmine too manages to emerge from behind her dark cloud.
