Lucas does everything he can to keep up the image of his perfect life. But as tensions at home continue to rise, the problems start catching up with him outside the house too.
Lucas (15) moves between two worlds. Outside the home, he's a bright student with friends and a budding romance with Esmée. At home, he tries to cope with mounting money problems that put growing pressure on the atmosphere. Out of shame, Lucas keeps these two sides of his life separate, until the problems no longer stay within the walls of his house. In this coming-of-age debut film, Meryem Çifteci explores how financial worries can seep into the life of a young person.
