The life of Shamira Raphaëla sharply contrasts with that of her father and brother. Her dad Pempy is a drug dealer who has been addicted to heroin and crack for thirty years. Her brother Andy threatens to follow in his father’s footsteps. In this intimate family portrait, Raphaëla testifies of her double feelings for the men who counter their seemingly desperate situation with lots of resilience and humour. When tragedy strikes, it is clear that even Raphaëla has been unable to escape the vicious circle trapping her family.
