Shamira Raphaëla

Shamira Raphaëla (1982) attended ArtEZ Institute of the Arts. She works as a director and screen writer. She was awarded the Film Award of the City Utrecht for Deal With It (2015) and the Golden Calf for Best Short Documentary for De waarheid over mijn vader (2019). In 2023 she won the Golden Calf for Best Feature Documentary for Shabu.
