Young Tarik helps his father with an illegal job. He dreams of a pat on the back, but the prize for this appreciation is high. In an accident along the way, Tarik loses his innocence.
At night, eleven-year-old Tarik helps his father with activities that can’t bear the light of day. When an accident happens along the way, the boy finally gets the appreciation from his dad he so deeply longed for. But for this pat on the back he has to give up his innocence, in this close-to-the-skin father-son drama that focusses on the boy’s emotions.
