From the Madonna and the welfare mother to the modern Muslim woman: this music video to Annabel Laura’s music is an ode to woman in all of her different shapes.
This road movie has seven characters, but only one actress. She embodies seven different types of women. Helpless, desperate, authoritarian, religious, independent and holy women alternate, while the actress drives on in her car and sings along with Annabel Laura’s music. There, in the car, all of the diverse women are equally present, showing a glimpse of their intimate, personal moments. All women eventually amalgamate in this metaphoric music video about the liberation from stigmas.
