Candid portrait of Cilla and Ilona, two transsexuals with an unusual history. Initially, their gender struggle is the foundation of a special friendship. But the different ways in which they deal with their transformation cause increasing friction, which eventually leads to an inevitable separation. Filmmaker Esther Prade follows the couple over a long period, without shunning personal interference and - like her two protagonists - apparently having a double agenda.
