Ingrid, Vicky and Sabrina are three different women with the same wasting disease: breast cancer. Without comments or interviews, the filmmakers follow these women who after their diagnosis try to regain their grip on life. Due to the treatment at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, they are presented with inevitable and painful decisions. How do they and their partners deal with the fear and insecurity? A personal and intimate documentary about women who battle their ailment with courage, resilience and a sense of humour.
