Robert Groden was a schoolboy celebrating his 18th birthday when President Kennedy was assassinated in the streets of Dallas. Some years later, he accidentally got his hands on the famous Zapruder footage of the assault. For him, this launched an obsessive crusade for the truth. It made him America's most famous JFK conspiracy theorist. This documentary does not try to unravel the murder theories, but demonstrates how Groden’s obsession came at a high price in his private life. Far removed from his wife and children, he relives that infamous day in 1963 time and again.
