Every park accommodates a unique mix of flora, fauna and human visitors. As does the Philips de Jongh Park. This urban oasis in English country style is characterised by monumental trees and winding footpaths and was donated to Eindhoven by the Philips family in 1920. The filmmaker threads an intuitive course through his amazement at the behaviour of man and animal in this beautiful city park. Not only the visitors and the camera, but the park itself also manifests itself as a living, observing entity.
