Pacifica.

Director: Jan-Willem van Ewijk
During a journey through the breath-taking landscapes of the American Midwest, 18-year-old Artis increasingly slips away from her father. A film about loss, denial and America’s complex relationship with guns.
Daniel is on a road trip through the American West with his teenage daughter Artis. They live in a golden bubble: camping and enjoying the landscape. But every time people approach them, Artis runs off, and Daniel anxiously searches for her. As they cross the Great Plains and head into the Rocky Mountains, Artis starts disappearing more and more often, gradually turning Daniel’s dream bubble into a nightmare.
