Personal documentary in which the maker examines her relationship with her brother. Both growing up in a freethinking family, her favourite brother was converted to Islam.
While Xena considers herself a feminist, left-wing and broad-minded person, she could never really accept her favourite brother’s conversion to Islam. He is happy as a Muslim, but adheres to a faith alien to her, with views diametrically opposed to hers. In this personal documentary, she tries to look at her brother’s new life without (pre)judging. She forces herself to discuss things with him and to see with her own eyes what her brother finds in his faith.
