In a peaceful landscape, a lonely boy walks home from school every day. Suddenly, he unexpectedly spots another child who wants to play with him. Hope of deliverance or self-deceit?
The experiences of an unhappy eight-year-old boy, shot without dialogue. On his daily walk home from school, he takes his frustration out on a post in the woods. Until one day he suddenly spots another child that does the same. They strike up a friendship. They run through the hills and play war. But for how long will this innocence endure, as long as he is marked by the aggression he is prey to? The black-and-white photography situates the story in the 1950s, but at the same time gives it a timeless character.
