Ik ben Alice

Director: Sander Burger
The ageing society lands more and more elderly people in social isolation. For this reason, Alice was invented, a social care robot with a sweet doll’s face. No extra helping hands, but a conversation partner who by way of experiment visits three women who are getting on in years. Initially, the 'guinea pigs' in the documentary are sceptical, but the increasing interactions amaze both the seniors and the team of scientists and care specialists who monitor the experiment.
