DOC25 - Daddy Doll

Director: Kasper Verkaik
Portrait of two children who grow up on an American army base in South Louisiana. These children will have to get along without their dads for a long time when the latter are dispatched to Afghanistan. They don’t really grasp yet why daddy is gone. They live in a seemingly safe world, but war is omnipresent. A special doll in fatigues takes their father’s place and is meant to console the infants.
