At a time when nature seems to lose its value, the director tries to get closer to nature, like a modern Don Quixote. He carries out some special experiments in this short documentary.
Ton Cox was born in a village in Limburg, but has been living in the Randstad for some years now. Here, he increasingly gets the impression people are becoming further removed from nature. Determined to turn the tide, he launches a mission to get ‘closer’ to nature. With different interviews and exciting experiments, he tries to accomplish this complex task. Ton wants to put cameras on animals, in order to show their perspective on the environment. However, the question is whether it can be done. Can nature really be directed?
