Dier

Director: Jonas van Impe
In the wild, we look for the Big Five and we simulate nature in zoos and animal shows. But what is the origin of the human urge to domesticate wild animals?
From animals living in their (simulated) natural habitat, via bird of prey and seal shows to dressage horses with polished hooves and bits in their mouths. Without explaining anything, the makers of this short, visually strong documentary show the balance of power between man and animal.
