Documentary about the extensive Amsterdam vice case of Robert M. from the perspective of the threatened lawyers’ office of Anker. The filmmakers capture how the lawyers work their way through miles of records, deliberate with the suspect on the phone or are on their way to the prison in Vught or the Amsterdam Bunker, where Robert M. is put on trial. Besides giving a unique view of the legal process from within, the documentary demonstrates how, under the pressure of public opinion, the boundaries between politics and legislature threaten to disappear and the constitutional state seems to be undermined.
