Story of daily life in today’s Srebrenica, told from the perspective of the stray animals that gradually seem to take over the city now that more and more people are leaving.
Srebrenica is a city where ever more people disappear and ever more animals appear. The city has a rough recent past and the people have grown weary. The past keeps haunting the place and the herd is misled by wolves in sheep’s clothing. The dogs and cats that roam the streets tell us a story, about the complicated species called 'man'. The short documentary, made as part of De Ontmoeting, does not focus on the turbulent past of Srebrenica, but on life in the city in 2019 AD.
