Joop knows his life is going to end soon. Loes, a volunteer, watches over his deathbed at night to offer his close family some rest. The observational documentary intimately captures the nights when Loes watches over Joop and shows how the dedicated woman, always with due distance, stays around to guide Joop to a peaceful end as well as possible.
