Years after his one-time neighbour was evicted, Roy thinks of him a lot. Now that he has to cope with a great loss, he wonders what drove Antoine at the time.
During his mother’s sickbed and after her ultimate decease, Roy pushes the limits, whether it involves speeding, sex, drugs or deafening music. As a young boy, he used to have a neighbour who listened to the intense Danse Macabre night after night. Roy now wonders whether back then Antoine was going through the same process as he is today. Two lives that crossed twenty years ago merge in this personal documentary essay.
