Thirty years after Anne Anders (1989), Leendert Pot again made a documentary about his sister who has Down syndrome. Anne, 53 now, since recently lives together with her compeer and boyfriend Jean-Paul. He suffers from Fragile X syndrome. As a director and cameraman as well as a brother and care giver, Pot puts himself in their minds and logic. Are they prepared for the autonomy they dreamt of, or will they still need support? In this poetic portrait, Pot follows them from waking up and going to work to their holiday.
