From 20 to 24 September 2024, the Dutch av industry gathered once again at the NFF Professionals Programme. The Conference, various Prof Talks and the Talent Day focused on the latest trends, policies and professional developments within the sector. There was also plenty of catching up and networking during the daily Professionals Drinks.

Holland Film Meeting
In 2024, 15 promising new projects were selected for Holland Film Meeting, within the programmes New Dutch, Stories & Beyond and the new programme, The Dutch Gallery. During the HFM (20 - 21 September), participants presented their projects to the (inter)national av industry, had one-on-one meetings with carefully selected industry professionals and numerous networking opportunities.
Storyspace Artist Talks
Prior to the opening of Storyspace, all makers were given the opportunity to thoroughly talk about their production at the Storyspace Artist Talks. They were asked questions about the making process, underlying thoughts, and what the best techniques for storytelling are.

NFF Extended
NFF Extended is the connecting platform of the Netherlands Film Festival, designed to inform and inspire everyone in the sector year-round through meetings on relevant, current and urgent topics.
NFF Extended X FilmForward: The Developments of AI in Film
On 31 May, the second NFF Extended of 2024 took place at MACA Amsterdam. The focus of this meeting was on the different ways AI can be used in the film industry both currently and in the future.

NFF Extended: Moonshot Meeting
On 6 March, the first NFF Extended of 2024 took place at the MU Hybrid Art House in Eindhoven. This edition of NFF Extended focused on the follow-up steps of the Moonshot Digital Culture, exploring how this sector can unite, strengthen and generate more visibility.
