When Zoë (13) moves to Berg en Bos with her mother and brother, she meets inventor Max (13). He tells her about the dark past of the village, with robots playing a leading role.
In the second season of the successful family series Zenith, we follow the eccentric Zoë (13). Anxious about her first school day, she meets Max, who claims there used to be a robot factory in the hills outside the village. Indeed, he is convinced that robots exist and live among humans. For Zoë, this is just a tad too bizarre to strike up a friendship, but this changes when she accidentally discovers that her popular classmate Olivia is in fact a robot.
