When filmmaker Kees Hin toured the world in search of the devil, Diego Gutiérrez captured everything. Now, a decade later, this footage has been edited into a non-narrative documentary.
When filmmaker Kees Hin travelled across Southeast Asia, Europe and South America ten years ago in search of the devil, the trip was captured by fellow-filmmaker Diego Gutierrez. A decade later, Gutierrez and Danniel Danniel immersed themselves in 97 hours of unedited footage to restructure the expedition without using a conventional narrative pattern. A documentary like a shoebox full of pictures that takes the viewer to unknown experiences.
