Vrolijke kerst

Director: Anna van der Heide
The economic crisis forces the wealthy Merry family to swap their luxurious villa for a squat on the fringes of town. They have lost all their possessions and status. Especially the parents find it hard to cope, but their children have a tough time too. No Christmas at their own home? That is a bitter pill. Fortunately, the family learns money isn’t everything and that Christmas is about real contact, with family and friends, but also with strangers. In the Swedish tradition of Christmas carols for the entire family, this TV drama in twenty short episodes builds up to Christmas.
