The economic crisis forces the wealthy Merry family to swap their luxurious villa for a squat on the fringes of town. They have lost all their possessions and status. Especially the parents find it hard to cope, but their children have a tough time too. No Christmas at their own home? That is a bitter pill. Fortunately, the family learns money isn’t everything and that Christmas is about real contact, with family and friends, but also with strangers.
