The popular rapper Fresku from Eindhoven could very well have become stranded in a belt factory, but a rapped cry of distress was his salvation. Record boss Kees de Koning heard the song and thought it was 'shamelessly sincere'. His parents, friends and Fresku himself explain how he contended with a tough childhood and preferred drawing cartoons to going to karate training. His rap songs, strewn all across the film, can now be appreciated as an autobiography full of emotion.
