Drama in which an irascible 12-year-old girl has to cope with her parents’ bitter divorce. She finds support in the kickboxing club, where she learns to accept she cannot control everything.
When her parents get mixed up in a bitter divorce, the wilful and irascible Bo flees to an Amsterdam suburb with her mother and brother. Here, girl-next-door Joy introduces her to the kickboxing club. The 12-year-old girl turns out to be a natural and is soon selected for the Dutch championships. But due to her parents’ divorce, she is distracted and the competition is jeopardised more and more. In this drama, Bo has to learn to keep a grip on herself and accept she cannot control everything.
