A simple touch can trigger a gamut of emotions that are stored in the skin. But what can you do if you are never touched and the desire for physical contact remains unfulfilled?
The need for physical contact is embedded in people; a simple touch can evoke a range of emotions that are stored in the skin. The intimate documentary, literally shot close to the skin, portrays men and women who due to different causes (have) experienced a lack of physical contact, sometimes resulting in a fierce desire. By lending their skin a voice, their want is expressed, as well as the impact of a touch when the need for bodily contact is fulfilled.
