Hilmano van Velzen, the 'Homeless Poet' and famous Dutchman, wants nothing more than to become famous with his poetry. But his addiction and character impede him. The documentary follows Hilmano during his search for recognition and his permanent struggle with drugs and himself. Can his poems give him the recognition he yearns for, after living on the street for 37years? Believe it or not/a homeless poet/is finally with his endless running /finally home /and feels free as a bird and liberated.
