Popular youth film, adapted from Carry Slee’s story about Sven and Roosmarijn, who both have serious problems, at home and at school.
Life is not easy for Sven. At home, his dipsomaniacal father abuses him, but he can’t talk about it with anyone, not even with his brother, who is loved by their father. Sven is making a film, with a leading role for Roosmarijn, a girl he is in love with and who has her own problems. She is sexually intimidated by mathematics teacher Bob, but when she wants to talk about it, nobody believes her. The two strike up a friendship, but this is seriously tested due to external factors. The story is interwoven with spectacular images of free running, the hobby of Sven’s friends. The film is based on Carry Slee’s bestseller.
