After finding a slaughtered farmer’s family just outside Amsterdam, police call in the help of zoo veterinarian Lizzy. She establishes that a sturdy, agressive lion caused the bloodbath, but nobody believes her. It is only after a massacre in the Vondel Park that authorities assent to her plan to mobilise the eccentric British lion hunter Jack. Lizzy’s friend, journalist Dave, has some rerservations. Often comic thriller in which the otherwise picturesque streets of Amsterdam change into a perilous jungle.
