Director and choreographer visualise the final days of the Viennese expressionistic painter Egon Schiele. A feverish dream in which powerful, expressive movements explore the boundary between beauty and eroticism on the one hand and decay and perversity on the other. This brings his characteristic work to life in a romantic, but also raw and merciless way. Schiele died in 1918 from the Spanish flu, three days after his pregnant wife, at the age of 28.
