Tariq and Jesse grew up together in Rotterdam. When they have not seen each other for five years, they unexpectedly run into each other in nocturnal Rotterdam. They are happy to see each other and want nothing more than revive the old friendship that still feels familiar. But their lives have grown apart too much. It leads to a confrontation that was brewing in the past too. Inspired by an experience the filmmaker himself had.
