As a property guardian, Daan has to move three times a month, each time trying to turn his new, temporary space into a home. On the other side of the city lives Cor, who has lived in the same house for thirty years. Yet that offers him no certainty either, as his home is now under threat of demolition to make way for new construction. Though Daan and Cor's lives look very different, in this debut documentary, they share the same question: what remains when the place that feels like home is at risk of disappearing?
