After their old mother’s abrupt departure, three brothers desperately try to stay upright in a tilting house. But the more distorted the relationship between them gets, the more the house tips over.
In the middle of nowhere, the three brothers Hein, Pé and Roemer live with their elderly mother Hillie. Remarkable characters, living in a tilting house that ‘sighs itself down’ ever further. Every year the house is manually pulled back up. This process has worked for decades, until the mother abruptly leaves for the warm South. Now, the nest keepers have to rely on themselves and each other for the first time. The further from home Hillie is, the more distorted the relationship between the brothers gets. And the more distorted the relationship gets, the more the house tips over. Can the day still be saved?
