When Sue's cousin Genelva from Suriname visits her in New York, they go to a hip club with two of Sue's best friends. Sue hopes she can combine the two different sides of her life on this night on the town. But after an awkward interaction with the bouncer, the evening works out completely different than expected. This graduation film ingeniously broaches subtle forms of racism and won awards at several American film festivals, including CineYouth in Chicago.
