After having a heart attack, an elderly man ends up in hospital. In his bed, he is physically and mentally confronted with his past, where a secret lies hidden that he always managed to keep concealed. The tension is carefully built up with flashbacks, sound effects and confrontational camera angles, and with a disquieting moisture stain on the ceiling above his hospital bed, which expands slowly but unstoppable.
