Marc Jacobs

Nine-year-old Soufyane lives in an unprivileged neighbourhood in Amsterdam-North with his Dutch mother. When his Moroccan father, whom he has never seen, invites him to spend his holidays in the country of his ancestors, he starts looking forward to the trip. Meanwhile in the street, Soufyane buys a pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses, though all of his friends wear Ray Bans. However, before his trip even starts, he is faced with a terrible disappointment. Tragicomic youth drama about the tough blows life deals out sometimes.
