Short drama in which a widower has to find a way to bid farewell to his deceased wife. On the day of the funeral, he still does not know what he will say.
Sjaak (76) is in his bathroom, scribbling on a notepad. He is wearing a black suit and is surrounded by things that used to belong to his deceased wife. He tries to write a speech, but can’t get beyond a few drafts. In the hearse, it is too tight to continue writing and in the funeral parlour he postpones composing his address, too. During the ceremony, he lets other ‘acts’ go first. While the available time is drawing to a close, Sjaak looks for a way to bid farewell to his one true love in a personal way.
