The earth has become uninhabitable; man has to look for a new world. Cooper, a former NASA test pilot turned farmer, bids farewell to his children to take part in a hazardous mission: searching for inhabitable planets in a remote corner of the universe. An epic but also poetic and emotional adventure in which the taxed love between father and daughter weighs just as heavily as the play with the laws of nature. The filmmakers worked hard on the realistic visualisation of black holes and other cosmic phenomena.
